We depart East Anglia this morning with the aim of getting to Canterbury early afternoon to allow you a few hours to explore your host city before your full day in Canterbury tomorrow. Your driver will collect you late afternoon to continue on to your hotel.

Today is yours to spend as you wish! Dominated by the magnificent cathedral, this compact city centre is best explored on foot, and you have the day to do just that! Among the attractions here are St Augustine's Abbey and the award-winning Canterbury Tales. There are also many shops to visit and delightful tea rooms and restaurants. Located just 0.6 miles from the Cathedral, it will be your responsibility to make your own way to and from the hotel today.

Following breakfast, you check out of the hotel and make your way to the charming market town of Faversham. With more than 300 listed buildings, Faversham is a delightful destination. Today, you can explore the independent shops, galleries, and tea rooms at your leisure.
