This hotel began its life as a farmhouse, which was purchased by Mr Makeney who rebuilt it to be a grand hall which you can still see original features from today, and is where the hotel gets its name from. While you’re here, take a walk over the delicately manicured gardens and have lunch in the gorgeous conservatory. All rooms are en suite and have TV, tea/coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and hairdryer. This hotel does have a lift.
