Seaham & Newcastle

Seaham & Newcastle
You take a journey along the Durham Heritage Coast this morning and head to the lively harbour town of Seaham. Take in the breathtaking views if you fancy walking along the coastal footpath or visit the Seaham Harbour Marina. Grabbing an ice cream while you're here though is a must! You return to Newcastle this afternoon for free time to explore your host city at leisure.

Alnwick Castle &

Alnwick Castle & Alnwick Garden
Famed as 'Windsor of the North', where the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland still reside, Alnwick Castle has been owned by the Percy family since 1309. Today you have access to the Castle where you'll see iconic settings which have graced the screens of numerous Hollywood blockbusters such as Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. You'll also visit Alnwick Garden today. These beautifully landscaped gardens have many unique features including sculptures, one of the largest treehouses in the world and the poison garden.

Holy Island

Seahouses, Bamburgh & Holy Island*
After breakfast, you travel to the popular village of Seahouses for a little free time. This beautiful and fascinating village has fantastic beaches and local wildlife in abundance. Your driver will then take you across the sandy causeway to the mysterious Holy Island of Lindisfarne, giving you fantastic views of the North Sea.
