Your Hotel
Golden Bahia de Tossa & Spa, Tossa de Mar
This truly magnificent hotel is situated in the picturesque town of Tossa de Mar and is one of the best hotels the area has to offer. Facilities at the hotel include an adult only rooftop pool bar, 7 swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), gym, bars and restaurants, sports court, spa, jacuzzi, sauna and cold bath. All rooms are en suite and have air conditioning, safe, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and TV. This hotel does not have any ground floor bedrooms, but does have a lift.

Day 1
Saturday 6th June
You depart in the early hours of the morning to travel to Dover for your ferry crossing to Calais. You then continue on to your overnight hotel in the Dijon area.
Day 2
Sunday 7th June
You continue on today to the main hotel for your 7-night stay.
Day 3
Monday 8th June - Free Day
You have a free day today to relax and enjoy the hotels facilities.
Day 4
Tuesday 9th June - Montserrat
Today you journey up the steep winding road to the Benedictine Monastery and sanctuary of Montserrat located near the top of the 4,000 foot mountain. With over 80 monks, Montserrat is Catalonia's most important religious retreat and is home to the "Black Madonna", one of only around 500 in Europe.
Day 5
Wednesday 10th June - Barcelona & Guided Tour
Today you visit the vibrant and dynamic capital of Catalonia, Barcelona. Home to architect Antonia Gaudi's quirky houses and his unfinished masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, this unique city is a sight to behold. Your visit here today commences with a guided coach tour.
Day 6
Thursday 11th June - Market Day in Tossa de Mar & Calella
This morning you have free time to explore the beautiful and popular market in your host town (correct information at the time of brochure going to print). Tossa de Mar market is a true household name in the area and dates back to the 10th century. This afternoon you travel to Calella for the remainder of the day. With 3km of blue flag beaches here, you can sit back in the warm Mediterranean climate and watch the world go by!
Day 7
Friday 12th June - Boat trip to Lloret de Mar*
This morning you head to the beach, where you take a 40-minute boat trip across to Lloret de Mar. You have some free time here to perhaps enjoy some lunch and take a wander before you return back to Tossa de Mar by boat.
Day 8
Saturday 13th June - Free Day
You have another free day today to enjoy your host town before your return journey begins tomorrow.
Day 9
Sunday 14th June
You bid farewell to Tossa de Mar this morning as you travel back to the Dijon area for your overnight stay.
Day 10
Monday 15th June
You continue on to Calais today for your return ferry crossing to Dover. Once you arrive, you travel back to East Anglia via comfort stops.
Please note:
Unless otherwise stated, admission prices into places of interest are not included.
*You will be required to walk 50m across the beach to get to the boat (some of which has a wooden walkway).
There are around 6 steps from the beach to access the boat. This excursion is regrettably not suitable for those with limited mobility.
**Dinner at the overnight hotel is a set menu. The order of excursions is not necessarily as stated above.
