Your day begins with a visit to Compton Acres, known as one of the most important ornamental gardens in England. Here you can enjoy over 10 acres of horticultural heaven before you continue on for a cruise on the 1938 vintage motor yacht, Dorset Queen! Whilst on board you will receive a fish and chip lunch and listen to live commentary as you cruise down the North Channel of Poole Harbour, passing Brownsea Castle, 'Millionaires Row' at Sandbanks and much more.

This morning you travel along the Jurassic coast to Lyme Regis. This ancient town was featured in the Domesday Book and its historic Cobb and harbour set against the cliffs, still yield fossilised evidence of life on earth millions of years ago. This afternoon you continue on to the unique Isle of Portland. At just four miles long and a mile and a half miles wide at the most, you'll be amazed at how much is packed in this tiny little island!
