WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre & Dr Jenner's House
This morning you visit the award-winning WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre. Opened in 1946 and set up by artist and naturalist Sir Peter Scott to champion all things wildlife. There are numerous paths and hides to wander along, all amongst the wildlife of the Severn Estuary. This afternoon, you go to Dr Jenner's House where a discovery that changed the world was made. Discover the home of Edward Jenner who left the ongoing legacy of the vaccination that's still making a massive difference to lives today. You can also walk around the garden that contains many herbs that he would've used.

Today you travel to Bath, where your day begins with an introductory walking tour of the city. Time is yours to explore for the remainder of the day.
STEAM & Bowood House
STEAM & Bowood House and Gardens
Your first visit of the day is to the fascinating STEAM, where the story is told of the men and women who built and operated, as well as travelled on the Great Western Railway. You then travel to Bowood House and Gardens, where there will be free time to explore the house and gardens at leisure. Bowood House has the perfect Georgian architecture, fascinating estate rooms and one of England's finest 'Capability' Brown landscapes.
